Job Description
We are currently hiring for machine operators across 2nd and 3rd shifts to support our ongoing expansion. This role involves operating machinery to produce wire products that meet customer specifications. Training will be provided on the 1st shift for 4-6 weeks.
Responsibilities
Operate digital controlled respooling and drawing machinery to produce quality wire products.
Load raw material, feed wire through machines, and remove finished products.
Change machinery settings from one product or package to another.
Perform quality welds using appropriate butt welders.
Conduct preventative maintenance on all production and support equipment.
Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Understand and meet product quality, delivery, and scrap measurement standards.
Operate safely according to all safety procedures and policies, wearing all assigned PPE.
Keep the work area clean and organized for the next operator.
Pass OSHA-approved Forklift Training and operate a forklift as part of daily tasks.
Adjust equipment for efficient and optimal operation with management guidance.
Work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with changing priorities.
Participate in training, employee meetings, committees, and project teams.Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude.
At least two years of experience in an industrial facility with machine or production experience.
Ability to read tape measures, micrometers, and calipers using the metric system.
Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction of three digits.
Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and direct support personnel.
Physical capability to push, pull, roll items, and lift 70 pounds regularly.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Technical school education is a plus.
Experience with machine operation, setup, and safety protocols such as lockout/tagout.

Work Environment
Our facility has roughly 12-15 employees on 1st shift and about 3-4 employees on 2nd shift, including maintenance staff. The shop is organized and prioritizes a clean, safe work environment typical of a manufacturing setting. Safety-toed shoes and ear protection are required.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $49920.00/yr.
