Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the manufacturing and assembly of medical devices, including catheter assembly under a microscope. You will adhere to strict guidelines and procedures to ensure the highest quality of our products.
Responsibilities
Follow and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Line Clearance, Work Instructions, assembly methods, product handling methods, production drawings, Good Documentation Practices, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and Safety requirements.
Successfully complete training on production tasks, understand travelers/routers, identify materials, use a microscope, and operate production/inspection tools and equipment needed for product builds.
Operate tools and equipment, and complete documentation as required.
Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection to accomplish assigned tasks.
Work directly with Engineers/Supervisors to ensure product integrity and quality are met at all times.
Collaborate with Engineers to develop process documentation.
Perform inventory counts.
Receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed and execute other duties as assigned.Essential Skills
Experience with microscope assembly and inspection in the medical device field.
Proficiency in catheter assembly.
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Line Clearance.
Experience working with adhesives (different Loctite), EFD dispensers, and UV curing systems.
Prior experience in a cleanroom production environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 2-5 years of medical device assembly and production or small electronics.
Hands-on experience in a manufacturing/production environment or prototyping.
Experience in the manufacturing of catheter products is a plus.
Ability to use required safety equipment when performing lab work.
Prior experience with in-process inspection to ensure workmanship and quality of in-process medical devices.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
