Operator -- 1st Shift -- Weekly Pay

Pay: $18.50 - $22.50 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented operator to join our team. The position involves liquid formulation, following detailed recipes, and ensuring accurate matching of tickets with recipes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using computers, particularly Excel, and will handle various raw inputs such as liquid totes, drums, and large bags. This role requires a thorough understanding of blending and reacting based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as well as conducting preliminary testing for density and pH levels.

Responsibilities

Follow detailed recipes for liquid formulation

Match tickets with the corresponding recipes

Use computers, especially Excel, for tracking and documentation

Handle raw inputs including liquid totes, drums, and large bags

Follow batch tickets and procedures accurately

Conduct blending and reacting processes based on SOPs

Pull samples for preliminary testing of density and pH

Transfer materials into bulk storage

Perform calculations involving fractions and percentages to ensure accurate measurements

Maintain a high level of accuracy to prevent costly errorsEssential Skills

Experience with batch mixing, machine operation, or similar roles

Strong mathematical skills, particularly with fractions and percentages

Ability to lift 50+ lbs

Proficiency in using computers and Excel

Minimum of 1+ year experience in a farm or outdoor work environment or 1+ year in a production facility operating machinery

Work Environment

.The production team currently consists of 4 members, with plans to expand to 30. The dress code includes jeans and steel-toe boots. Standard working hours are from 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, with current extended hours from 6am to 4:30pm and additional hours on Saturdays during the busy season (June/July). The role involves rotating Saturdays, with one off per month, and the option to work additional Saturdays if desired.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $22.50/hr.
