Securities Associate / Of Counsel – Investment Funds Group

Direct Counsel is seeking a Securities Associate or Of Counsel to join a leading firm in the following locations:

Position Overview:

Direct Counsel is seeking an experienced Securities Associate or Of Counsel to join the Investment Funds Group at a prestigious firm. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex securities transactions, including structured securities offerings, commercial real estate financings, acquisitions, and dispositions.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and advise on structured securities offerings.

Represent public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional and financial investors.

Handle a broad range of transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, and financings.

Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas and offices.

Conduct legal research and provide strategic counsel to clients.

Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school.

Licensed to practice in the jurisdiction of the applying office.

Minimum of 6 years of experience managing structured securities offerings.

Experience with commercial real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.

Direct experience at an Am Law 100 firm preferred.

Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills.

Excellent business judgment and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Details:

Employment Type: Associate or Of Counsel.

Compensation: $310,000 – $550,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
