Cloud DevOps Transformation Lead, Leading Financial Institute (HK)

Our client, a leading financial institution, is looking for a Cloud DevOps Transformation Leader to drive regional cloud projects.

Responsibilities

- Directs cloud migration programs, overseeing contractors and IT professionals across business units

- Architects secure, automated deployment frameworks leveraging cloud-native paradigms

- Designs and deploys sophisticated CI/CD pipelines to optimize development lifecycles

- Establishes enterprise-grade Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps standards for AWS/Azure

- Mentors the business unit IT personnel to transition to advanced cloud-native ecosystems

- Enhances system resilience by mitigating single points of failure

- Implements strategic deployment methodologies (e.g., blue-green, rolling, A/B testing)

- Leads the cloud operations team to ensure seamless application performance and support

- Drives project execution, adhering to stringent timelines and quality benchmarks

- Cultivates cross-functional alliances to deliver robust Platform-as-a-Service solutions

- Proactively addresses cloud operational risks with comprehensive mitigation strategies

- Achieves KPIs: full CI/CD enablement, accelerated software delivery, complete SecDevOps integration

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline

- Extensive IT experience, with a focus on cloud architecture and governance

- Proven leadership in steering complex, regional IT initiatives, ideally in Asia

- Mastery of DevOps frameworks, Terraform, Ansible, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)

- Expertise in CI/CD automation, API integration, and Linux/Windows system administration

- Proficient in microservices, MVC architectures, RDBMS, and Agile methodologies

- Comprehensive experience with AWS/Azure ecosystems and automated release pipelines

- Superior analytical, critical thinking, and enterprise project management capabilities

- Exceptional fluency in written and spoken English; multilingual proficiency is advantageous

- Meticulous, self-directed, and adept at fostering collaborative stakeholder relationships

- Passionate about leveraging emergent technologies (cloud, microservices, mobile)
