Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled IT Administrator to join our team and manage our Microsoft 365 (M365) environment while maintaining the security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience as an M365 Administrator, strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, and a solid understanding of local area networks (LANs) and security technologies such as Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer, manage, and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows-based servers and workstations.
• Oversee LAN infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and network performance.
• Implement and monitor security solutions, including EDR and SIEM tools, to protect against cyber threats.
• Manage user accounts, access controls, and security policies within Microsoft 365 and other IT systems.
• Collaborate with IT security teams to identify vulnerabilities and enforce best security practices.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues across the organization.
• Maintain IT documentation, including IT asset management, system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
• Assist in IT projects, such as system migrations, upgrades, and security enhancements.
• Support and maintain network printers, ensuring reliability and resolving connectivity or hardware issues.
• Manage and troubleshoot meeting room rally gear, ensuring seamless video conferencing and collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a Microsoft 365 Administrator or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra/Azure AD.
Experience managing Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
Understanding of LAN technologies, including switching, routing, and network security.
Working knowledge of EDR and SIEM solutions.
Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance frameworks.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, or CCNA.
Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
Familiarity with cloud security principles and Microsoft Defender solutions.
