The Scrum Master role leads the team that is building agent facing technology applications.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Facilitate sprint planning, stand ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies

Prioritize projects and development tasks with guidance from Product Manager

Review and manage backlog items to ensure the latest work status is captured and updated as appropriate

Track, forecast and report on project progress including metrics and challenges

Be a change agent. Identify continuous improvement opportunities and best practices to progress the work of the squad

Actively create and maintain the culture within the squad based on the organization and Agile leadership behaviors

Provide constructive feedback to team members to help drive Agile maturity

Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field

3-5 years’ experience in the role of Scrum Master and Project Manager

Strong working knowledge of Agile practices

Proficient in JIRA or Wrike and Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Agile, Scrum and PMP Professional Certification

Ability to influence behavior without having formal organizational hierarchy

High sense of urgency; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where speedy delivery is a core value

High accountability and ownership mentality; takes responsibility to drive projects to successful completion

Effective leadership skills with ability to analyze, make decisions, and think quickly, and to resolve conflict

Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)
