FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Monday - Friday

6:00 am - 6:00 pm, mandatory overtime as needed

$40.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Perform repairs and maintenance on fleet equipment, including generators, trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and attachments

Service and diagnose Cummins, Caterpillar, and John Deere engines

Maintain and repair air compressor equipment

Conduct routine preventative maintenance

Use diagnostic tools and software to test and troubleshoot components

Perform welding and hard surfacing as needed

Complete quality inspections before returning equipment to service

Maintain accurate service and repair records

Track inventory and manage shop supplies

Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Proficient in using shop equipment and computer-based diagnostic tools

Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively

Minimum 1 year of welding experience

Minimum 3 years of mechanic experience

Clear and professional communication with coworkers, managers, and customers

Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and urgent assignments

Able to produce thorough and timely service reports and documentation
