Job Description

As an Operations Superintendent, you will oversee key production areas to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of operational efficiency to drive success in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead and support production supervisors and teams to meet operational goals

Ensure compliance with safety, ergonomic, and quality programs to maintain a safe work environment

Oversee workforce planning, training, and performance management to enhance productivity

Monitor plant operations, ensuring efficiency in labor, material usage, and cost control

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, animal science, business, or a related field preferred

5+ years of plant management or operations leadership experience

Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams

Experience in manufacturing operations, food safety, and regulatory compliance

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software; SAP experience a plus
