Summary

We representing a leading construction company with over 15+ years of excellence across California, specializing in Healthcare/OSHPD/HCAID, Federal, Public Works, and Education projects. With a growing team of over 50 employees, the company consistently delivers outstanding results that surpass industry standards. They are currently seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to oversee projects, ensuring top-tier performance, safety, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.

Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to develop schedules, coordinate resources, and monitor progress.

Supervise and mentor site supervisors, foremen, and other personnel to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify issues, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within quality standards.

Review and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications to guarantee accuracy in implementation on-site.

Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers, addressing performance, resolving conflicts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety meetings, and promote a culture of safety across the site.

Collaborate with project managers to manage budgets, track costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.

Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and site photographs.

Requirements

Extensive experience in construction, with a minimum of 5+ years as a Superintendent, ideally with mid-sized or larger firms.

2+ years specializing in Public Works or OSHPD/HCAI projects is required

Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and building codes.

Proven ability to manage and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

Proficiency in one of the following construction management software and tools: Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.

Certifications such as OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR are a plus.
