MBS is hiring a Data Engineer Cincinnati, OH. This position is a full-time position, temp to hire opportunity.

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, construct, install, test and maintain data management systems.

Build high-performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes.

Ensure that all systems meet the business/company requirements as well as industry practices.

Integrate up-and-coming data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.

Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production. •

Create custom software components and analytics applications.

Employ an array of technological languages and tools to connect systems together.

Collaborate with members of your team (eg, data architects, the IT team, data scientists) on the project’s goals. • Install/update disaster recovery procedures.

Recommend different ways to constantly improve data reliability and quality.

REQUIREMENTS

Technical Degree or related work experience

Experience with non-relational & relational databases (SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, MongoDB, etc.)

ETL experience using DataStage

Strong SQL experience

DBT experience is nice to have

Data Storage, processing and analytic solutions utilizing Snowflake is a plus

Work Status: US Citizen or Green Card required

Duration: 6 month+ CTH

Location: 3 days/week in Cincinnati, OH (45202) in office

Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.

Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.

Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.

Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time

Communication skills.
