Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced LSR Injection Molding Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in LSR injection molding, with expertise in operating and maintaining molding equipment in a regulated cleanroom environment. This role involves supporting short production runs, overmolding processes, and R&D initiatives to deliver precision components for medical devices.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and maintain LSR injection molding machines for short production runs and overmolded parts.
Perform mold changes, process adjustments, and troubleshooting to ensure product quality and efficiency.
Work in a Class 7 Cleanroom environment, adhering to strict ISO 13485 and FDA regulatory standards.
Collaborate with R&D teams to develop and validate new molding processes and prototypes.
Monitor and document process parameters, ensuring compliance with quality control standards.
Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to maintain cleanroom integrity.
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
GMP/ISO awareness as they apply to medical/pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Must have at least 5+ years of experience molding TPE’s and/or LSR’s.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Reports and interprets data in a clear, timely, concise fashion. Inform supervisor of progress/problems. Positive verbal and written communication, interdepartmental and other departments, is essential.
MATHEMATICAL/ MECHANICAL APTITUDE
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as volume, volume change, density (specific gravity), percentages, area, circumference, and shrinkage. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in LSR injection molding, including overmolding and short-run production.
Proven ability to work in a Class 7 Cleanroom environment, with knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA regulations.
Strong technical skills in mold setup, process optimization, and equipment troubleshooting.
Experience with R&D and process development for medical device components is a plus.
Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in manufacturing or related field preferred.
Working Conditions
Full-time position with potential for overtime.
Work performed in a Class 7 Cleanroom, requiring adherence to gowning and contamination control protocols.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
