Description

Hickok Waekon, LLC. is a Contract Manufacturing and Engineering company that is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Mechanical Drafter / CAD Drafter at our corporate headquarters in Cleveland, OH. We design, manufacture, sell and support various products in the Transportation and Industrial Industries (Automotive, Aviation, Locomotive, Emissions and Food Processing Plants). The manufacturing plant is in Greenwood, MS.

Primary responsibilities will be for the documentation of the mechanical aspects of products, enhancements to existing products, and reverse engineering product documentation.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree-level or equivalent experience and have a proven track record in drafting. Be a talented ‘all-rounder’ and be able to work in a multi-disciplined design and development team. Possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, creativity skills, honesty, integrity, an eagerness to learn, and a high level of personal motivation and drive.

Required Qualifications and Experience upon employment:

Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience with a proven track record in drafting

1+ years’ experience in a similar role

CAD drawings / modeling:

2D drawings using AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD LT

3D modeling using AutoDesk Inventor

Basic understanding of GD&T

Salary Description

$60,000 - $75,000 Negotiable
