The Scrum Master guides andfacilitates a Scrum &/or Kanban team involved in a large fast-paced programimplementing complex technology for business-oriented solutions, througheffective application of the agile based SDLC (Software Delivery Life Cycle)and associated ceremonies, ensuring the agreed upon agile practice is beingfollowed. Removing impediments and fostering a high performing team with afocus on continuous improvement resulting in quality and timeliness delivery.
Scrum master experience in acomplex large-scale enterprise
Experience in an agileenvironment in other roles; such as quality assurance, development, productowner, or as an agile coach
Proven knowledge andexperience with agile software development methodologies, values, andprocedures
Demonstrated leadershipability to coach and mentor the team to reach their highest potential.Excellent team player and team builder

Key Responsibilities
Guide, coach and motivate theteam with the goal of increasing productivity
Organize and lead Scrumceremonies
Oversee and manage scope,timeline, quality, goals and deliverables that support business goals
Remove impediments or guidethe team to remove impediments
Build a trusting and safeenvironment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, orbeing judged, with an emphasis of productive conflict resolution and problemsolving
Facilitate discussions,decision making, and conflict resolution
Prepare and present reports onthe progress and success
Coordinate activities with otherteams across the program
Partner with and support theProduct Owner
Participate in the Scrum ofScrums and partner with other Scrum Masters
Coach the team to higherlevels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the teamand organization
Organize and facilitateplanning and coordination including release / Potentially Shippable Incrementsplanning, iteration planning, daily stand-ups, iteration review/demos, andretrospectives
Ensure teams are heldaccountable to agile SDLC (Software Delivery Life Cycle) tenants and theirinternal working agreements including use of appropriate tools, standards andbest practices
Promote and demonstrate coreagile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability andvisibility
Ensure the team is trackingand communicating team progress and metrics to the appropriate resources.
Facilitate and enable anenvironment of collaboration and creativity
Support and empower the teamto make appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition.
Empower the team toself-organize around achieving their commitments
Identify and remove anyimpediments/distractions that interfere with the teams ability to deliveragainst their commitments
Challenge and enable the teamto continuously improve through intentional and data driven inspect and adaptcycles (retrospectives)
Note to Vendors
This role is for a Mid-Seniorlevel Scrum Master supporting the Data Management Platform within CX. There are3 different teams under DMP. The Scrum Master will start off leading 1 of theteams and then will ramp up to take on the other 2.
The Scrum Master will besupporting a small group of proactive data engineers. Prior experience in anytype of data space would be helpful but not required.
This Scrum Master needs tohave great communication skills and excel at bringing teams together. They needto foster collaboration and connection amongst the teams that they work with.
Each team has their own way ofworking (Agile, Kanban, Scrum). They need a Scrum Master that will not be toorigid with their methodology. They should seek to evolve the teams rather thanto come in and change them.
Top 3 requirements for theideal candidate:
Local to Cincinnati and ableto come into the BTD to connect with team and stakeholders (occasional remoteis okay, but in-office is a big help for this team that works mostly in-personMonday through Thursday).
Excellent communication andteam building both in person and remote
