Job Summary: The HR/Logistics Officer is responsible for managing human resources functions and overseeing logistical operations to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.

The role involves recruitment, employee relations, policy implementation, procurement, inventory management, and coordination of transportation and supply chain activities.

Key Responsibilities: Human Resources (HR): • Ensure compliance with SSSRO HR policies and procedures (SOP—standard operating procedures) as well as HR-related internal controls as per the SSSRO Internal Control System.

• Manage human resources and logistics, including local induction for new staff.

• Maintain annual leave balances.

• Follow up to ensure timely and accurate completion and submission of staff monthly timesheets; • Co-ordinate staff arrival and departure process; • Maintain relevant staff and consultant information in the HR system.

• Act as a focal point for coordination with the main office and other departments for HR issues; Logistics: • Provide logistics cost estimates for budgetary purposes on projects.

• Plan and oversee procurement and logistics operations.

• Ensure timely supply of materials, equipment, and office necessities.

• Manage inventory, warehouse operations, and stock control.

• Coordinate transportation, deliveries, and distribution of goods.

• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers for procurement and contracts.

• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with procurement policies.

• Monitor and control logistics costs and optimize supply chain efficiency Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in one of these relevant fields: accounting, human resources, or business administration (master's degree preferred). Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR/LOGISTICS, preferably in health, WASH, or protection interventions.

Skills: Strong team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pashto & Dari fluent, and English is required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
