ID/OD Grinder

We are seeking a skilled Grinder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various fabrication processes. As a Grinder, you will be responsible for grinding, shaping, and finishing metal components to meet precise specifications. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints accurately.

Duties:

Operate grinding machines to produce tight-tolerance products.

Utilize laser cutting and plasma cutting techniques as needed for specific projects.

Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the appropriate grinding techniques and tooling required.

Perform CNC programming for automated grinding processes.

Fabricate parts according to specifications while adhering to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.

Conduct regular maintenance on grinding equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production efficiency.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Experience in grinding or similar roles within a manufacturing environment.

Experience with ID/OD or Centerless Grinding is preferred.

Experience with a CNC Lathe or Mill is preferred.

Familiarity with Toyoda, Okamoto, or Usach CNC grinders

Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
