Duration: 1-year+ contract

Compensation Range: $65-$75/hr Role Overview:

Client is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support the Sustainability portfolio businesses within the Renewable Energy sector. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile processes, coordinate development activities, and drive the successful implementation of an Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) platform. This role is hybrid, requiring four days in-office per week in Houston, TX. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Coach and guide teams on Agile best practices to improve collaboration and efficiency.

Work closely with Product Owners to prioritize and manage backlogs.

Identify and remove obstacles affecting the team's progress.

Ensure project visibility and transparency through reporting and sprint metrics (e.g., burndown charts).

Maintain focus on sprint objectives, delivery timelines, and stakeholder communication. Must-Haves:

Minimum of eight years of Scrum Master experience (candidates with less experience will be rejected).

Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Agile methodologies, and Scrum frameworks.

Experience in the Energy/Oil & Gas industry.

Experience with ETRM SaaS platforms.

Strong communication and servant leadership skills.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

Agile Certification (CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, or SAFe). Nice-to-Haves:

Experience working in large-scale digital transformation projects.

Strong knowledge of sustainability initiatives related to Renewable Natural Gas.

Experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.
