Hudson Regional Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist to join our growing cardiac catheterization laboratory. This pivotal role involves direct collaboration with physicians in the delivery of exceptional patient care during a wide range of invasive cardiovascular procedures. Job Specific Competencies:

Collaborates directly with the Purchasing Department for efficient ordering and maintenance of optimal par levels for supplies.

Oversees the maintenance of all radiographic equipment and storage areas, ensuring operational readiness and compliance.

Maintains comprehensive equipment service and quality control logs, ensuring adherence to all relevant testing protocols.

Serves as a primary point of contact for visiting vendors, facilitating smooth and efficient interactions.

Provides expert assistance to physicians throughout all phases of cardiac, endovascular, neurovascular, electrophysiology, and radiology invasive procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, diagnostic coronary catheterizations and angioplasty, endovascular diagnostics and interventions, intra-aortic balloon pump and Impella insertions, and electrophysiology procedures such as pacemaker implantation, temporary pacemaker and loop recorder insertions, as well as cerebral angiograms and neurovascular interventions.

Takes responsibility for the meticulous preparation of sterile procedure trays and comprehensive patient preparation prior to each case.

Accurately enters all pertinent patient data into the hemodynamic monitoring system and ensures thorough procedural documentation.

Demonstrates proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and promptly recognizing potentially life-threatening arrhythmias.

Maintains and effectively utilizes digital cine technologies, ensuring the proper storage and retrieval of high-quality images and hemodynamic records.

Proactively manages Cath Lab inventory by consistently resupplying procedure rooms to maintain operational efficiency.

Provides assistance in the safe and efficient transport of patients to designated nursing units within the institution.

Participates as an integral member of the Emergency Call Team for procedures required outside of regularly scheduled hours, with a mandatory on-site presence in the laboratory within 30 minutes of activation.

Education and Licensure Requirements:

Candidates must possess a current Registered Technologist (RT) license OR hold an active Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.

For candidates holding a current RN, RT, EMT, or Ultrasound, Echo Tech Licenses, Hudson Regional Hospital is committed to supporting your professional growth by providing pathways for the attainment of the RCIS credential within one year of hire.

Sign on Bonus for anyone with an Active RCIS license and will be given after attainment for one year.
