Data Scientist

This position could be located in Reston, Herndon, Mclean or Chantilly, VA

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Data Scientist that will support global mission-enabling multi-cloud solutions to mission environments and supporting cloud service providers (CSPs) offering cloud services across multiple networks.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrated experience of appropriate analytic methods and methodological tools in one or more of the following areas: Applied Mathematics, computer Programming, visualization

Demonstrated experience of collection methods, monitoring, analysis, and reporting of cloud service consumption and spend metrics, and of cloud vendor contract performance metrics

Demonstrated experience of collection methods, capabilities, and tasking process

Demonstrated experience leveraging multiple data management tools to organize relevant information and make decisions

Demonstrated experience translating complex, technical findings into an easily understood narrative in graphical, verbal, or written form

Demonstrated experience multi-tasking and changing focus quickly as demands change

Demonstrated experience working collaboratively and effectively in a team environment

Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI with Poly

Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or technical field

Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role

Experience working with cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, or similar)

Experience working in or with the Department of Defense

Certifications: Quantitative Field or Data Science related
