Job Description
General Statement of Duties:
Participates in the general maintenance of a drilling rig.
Supervision Received:
Receives directions from the Driller and overall supervision from the Rig Manager.
Supervision Exercised:
Not Applicable
Summary of Duties (Duties may include, but are not limited to the following):
Perform assigned tasks safely, efficiently and within the parameters of Company policies;
Utilize tongs to connect and disconnect drill pipe/equipment as it is being lowered or raised;
Clean and maintain equipment;
Assist other members of the crew as needed;
Clean, scrub, and paint the rig floor and rig in general;
Drive mobile equipment and run general errands as required;
Take an appropriate part in closing in the well if required;
Other duties as assigned.

Relevant functional and technical skills;

Knowledge of rig equipment and safety practices;
Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
Education and Experience:
Must have valid H2S Alive ticket, Standard First Aid ticket, and eGSO;
Relevant experience of field work in the oilfield services industry;
Completion of Savanna’s Greenhand Program.
Full-time
