General Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Purchasing the Inventory Control Supervisor will oversee Warehouse H and handle all inventory quality, defect, and cycle count concerns. The Inventory Control Supervisor will be an active member of the team and will often be required to perform many of the core job responsibilities of an inventory control associate. This role will supervise Inventory Control associates in the Hermon location.

Essential Job Functions

Effectively handle all quality and defect inventory issues

Maintain accurate cycle counts

Ensures that warehouse associates receive and restock incoming parts and materials, maintaining accurate inventory

Maintain consistent stock rotation (first in, first out)

Keeps warehouse clean and in order

Identifies missing, lost or damaged parts and materials

Performs duties of an Inventory Control Associate as required

Supervisor Responsibility

The Inventory Control Supervisor will supervise Inventory Control associates in Hermon.

Skills/Experience/Training Required

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Demonstrated experience with warehousing equipment such as powered pallet jacks, forklifts and order pickers. Demonstrated leadership or management experience.

Personal Protective Equipment Required

Gloves

Working Conditions

Spends much of time walking the factory floor or seated on forklift; occasionally must climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; vibration; high noise level

At times, works at heights up to 25 feet above ground (secured)

Must regularly lift up to 25lb, occasionally up to 75lb.
