In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive automated testing strategies within CI/CD pipelines

• Collaborate, Co-develop and optimize DevOps integration of custom testing frameworks - unit, integration, functional, performance, and security testing

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to establish effective testing practices and standards

• Create and maintain testing infrastructure as code

• Implement test data management solutions and test environment provisioning

• Establish metrics and monitoring for test coverage, quality, and performance

• Troubleshoot and resolve testing pipeline failures and bottlenecks

• Continuously improve testing processes to balance quality assurance with delivery speed

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• BE/B Tech/MCA/MBA

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Experience with test data management tools

• Knowledge of database mocking frameworks

• Experience with shift-left testing methodologies

• Familiarity with chaos engineering principles

• Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) practices

• Understanding of service virtualization (e.g., WireMock, Hoverfly or equivalent)

• Experience with AI/ML-based testing tools

• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Experience in DevOps, with focused on test automation and continuous testing

• Strong programming skills in at least one language commonly used for test automation (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.)

• Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

• Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD - Advanced proficiency in pipeline configuration and management

• GitHub Actions - Experience with workflow configuration and automation

• Azure DevOps or AWS CodePipeline - Familiarity with cloud-native CI/CD solutions

• JUnit/TestNG for Java-based unit testing

• pytest/unittest for Python-based testing

• Jest/Mocha for JavaScript testing

• Selenium or Cypress for web UI testing

• Appium for mobile application testing

• Cucumber or SpecFlow for BDD implementations

• API Testing Tools Postman/Newman for API testing and collection execution

• REST-assured or requests libraries for API test automation

• SoapUI for SOAP API testing

• Performance & Load Testing JMeter or Gatling for load testing

• Security Testing OWASP ZAP or SonarQube for security scanning

• Dependency scanning tools (OWASP Dependency Check, Snyk)

• Container scanning tools (Trivy, Clair or equivalent)

• Docker and Kubernetes for containerized test environments

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $55000 to $685000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
