The Human Resources Generalist reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This pivotal support position requires a macro perspective of the company, flexibility, and attention to detail. As a successful candidate, you will provide crucial HR support to the CFO, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic property management environment. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $50,000 to $60,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the management team to develop effective recruitment strategies.
Identify future staffing needs in collaboration with management.
Develop and maintain talent management processes.
Administer new employee onboarding and orientation.
Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.
Stay informed about federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
Process payroll and respond to HR-related inquiries.
Handle complaints related to sexual harassment, discrimination, or workplace issues, assisting in necessary investigations and disciplinary actions.
Conduct exit interviews and coordinate corrective actions when needed.
Maintain employee personnel records.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Knowledge of personnel and compliance records management.
Understanding of state and federal employment regulations and compliance.
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
1-2 years of human resources experience.
Familiarity with payroll systems.
