Inventory Control Supervisor - Erlanger, KY

MAIN FUNCTION: This individual will report to the NA Flavors Warehouse Network Manager, this is a key position within the Erlanger Supply Chain team. This position’s primary focus is to lead & manage our cycle counting team along with the oversight of our cycle counting practices, programs & processes. In addition this position will ensure the accuracy of the perpetual inventory at all times by researching inventory variances, maintaining the integrity of product storage locations, monitoring material movement transactions & ensuring inventory accuracy.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK PERFORMED:

Takes the leadership role for all aspects of the cycle counting department, including:

Scheduling of all cycle counts and counters at appropriate work sites across Erlanger Network.

Interfaces closely with Production & Warehousing leadership & operators to conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions on inventory accuracy errors.

Contacts appropriate E2E teams when problems/issues occur that are inventory related in an efficient manner.

Follows escalation process.

Supervises all cycle counting personnel and other assigned reports across multiple sites. Hires, trains and develops reports to meet ADM customer service objectives. Utilizes departmental training checklists and matrices. Understands and ensures adherence to all ADM policies and departmental procedures by reports. Takes appropriate actions to correct deviations. Writes annual performance reviews of all reports across multiple buildings.

Responsible for all inventory accuracy-related communications inside and outside of the company for the Erlanger Network (in partnership with accounting where appropriate).

Writes and monitors all ISO 9001 cycle counting and inventory accuracy processes and conducts appropriate auditing and training across all Erlanger warehouse locations

Validating & sign off of daily counts

Has secondary ownership on inventory levels across the Erlanger network including working with Customer Service, Purchasing and other departments to validate proper levels are kept on hand to ship material off sight when needed.

Assists on disposition of warehouse R, excess inventory, etc to be processed and disposed of timely

Assisting offline issues/customer return process along-side Receiving team for proper inventory displacement.

Generates KPI’s for inventory hygiene practices for all ADM Employees at Production and Warehousing locations.

Ensure safety & food safety remain a top priority & these standards are built into our inventory practices.

Proficient understanding of all information systems and process connected to warehouse manage system & transportation management system

Is willing to work outside normal business hours including weekends

Perform other duties and assignments as required.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

High School Diploma or Equivalent, degree in a related field preferred

3 + years’ experience in Warehousing Operations &/or Supply Chain

Practical experience with WMS required.

Analytical and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal customers

Proven ability to communicate effectively within a team based environment.

Computer skills (Microsoft office suite – excel, word, BI, etc) Applications within a windows based operating environment.

Self-motivated/commitment to continuous improvement

Individual must be committed to corporate ethics policies & safety programs.

Physical demands – Standing, lifting (up to 50lbs), walking & reaching

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$58,100.00 - $108,000.00
