Develop and Implement Effective Therapy Plans - Design, adapt, and execute occupational therapy activities that support student growth and progress. Regularly assess and modify strategies to meet individual needs.
Create and Manage IEP Goals - Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop targeted IEP goals focusing on fine motor, sensory, perceptual, self-care, and play-based skills. Continuously monitor progress and adjust objectives as needed.
Collaborate with Key Stakeholders - Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, educators, families, and external providers to ensure a comprehensive, supportive approach to student success.
Ensure Compliance and Documentation - Complete and submit required reports, including weekly updates, quarterly progress reports, and IEP-related documents, while adhering to state and district deadlines.
Utilize Behavior and Crisis Management Strategies - Implement effective behavior management techniques and employ non-violent crisis intervention when necessary to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
Uphold Safety, Confidentiality, and Policy Standards - Follow safety protocols, use PPE when required, and maintain student confidentiality per FERPA and company policies. Adhere to all organizational procedures and regulations. Required Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
Active Occupational Therapist license. Preferred (Nice to Have) Qualifications:
