Work closely with Portfolio Managers to evaluate investment decisions in financial institutions’ credit and derivatives in developed markets. Build and maintain proprietary databases in collaboration with the Quantitative Research Team. Provide the senior investment team with detailed research, analytics, modeling, and fundamental analysis. Design and maintain proprietary cash flow and credit models, and utilize sophisticated models developed by the Quantitative Research team to identify investment opportunities. Analyze risk and develop a comprehensive understanding of the products covered and how they trade in the market. Participate in Bracebridge’s culture and learn about other areas of the firm including Quantitative Research and Risk Management. Monitor existing investments and communicate with the Middle Office to confirm receipt of various instruments and fees. Write code and use other tools (like Bloomberg and Excel) to build and maintain screeners for trade ideas. Assist in the execution of trades.

Position is fixed based in Boston, MA; however, telecommuting is allowed up to five (5) days per week. Must reside in, or be willing to relocate, to Massachusetts.

Three (3) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):-Investment Analyst or related occupation with experience in financial capital structures-Bloomberg functionality and proficiency in BDP/BQL API suite -Programming in VBA, SQL and Python to build models and work with proprietary datasets -Analyzing term sheets, bond documents, and asset performance documents -Modeling, analyzing, and trading a wide variety of financial instruments and financing structures including asset-backed securities, corporate debt, REITs, loans, revolvers and esoteric derivatives -Identifying and analyzing relevant legal and regulatory developments across US and foreign jurisdictions -Establishing and maintaining communications with market counterparties.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Computer Science or a directly related field
