Senior Software Engineer I (2703572)

Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, extend and improve the performance of all aspects of existing data acquisition framework. Design and develop well-designed, testable, and efficient scalable applications using best software development practices with C#, Aurelia, Blazor, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and other technologies based on user requirements. Develop and maintain analytical reports and applications to distill the market data and risks requested by the members of the trading teams. Setup workflows and pipelines to gather data from multiple internal and external sources like Bloomberg, DTCC, JPMDQ, Crawlers, Excel, etc. through intraday and End of day processes using C#, SQL, Perl, etc. Identify and remove redundancies and inconsistencies and use the ETL process for optimized database performance. Implement automated checks to validate the sanity and availability of data and troubleshoot if the data is missing or wrong. Enhance the existing database architecture to boost performance and ensure maintainability, by diagnosing and resolving inefficiencies with scalable, robust, and high-performance code solutions. Proactively identify and resolve daily issues stemming from corrupted data or unforeseen scenarios. Develop and maintain framework for end-to-end testing of internal tools using ATATA. Collaborate with business, technical, and agile team members to enhance existing tools.

Position is fixed location based in Boston office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed three (3) days per week.

Six (6) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):-Object oriented programming and C#-Web development experience using Microsoft .NET Framework, Angular/Aurelia, Typescript and REST API's.-Database design and development using SQLSEVER/POSTGRES-Application and database design patterns and practicesThree (3) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):-Software development -Unit and integration testing platformsTwo (2) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):-Distributed application development and multithread programming-Database and advanced Database concepts both in Postgres and SQL

Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Technologies or a directly related field
