Job Description
Amcor is currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable coworkers to join our production team for the summer of 2025
Shift: Hours will vary depending on the tasks assigned. Expect to work 8 to 12 hour shifts. Flexibility is key, and shifts may change based on operational needs.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO AS AN INSPECTOR/PACKER:
Inspect and package finished product in a high-speed operation
Responsible for safety of yourself and others around you
Ensuring quality of the product being manufactured
Maintaining high awareness to waste and productivity standards
Training of other employees in the position
Maintain housekeeping for assigned area
Assist operator when needed on the machine
WHAT YOU GET TO DO AS A PRESS ASSISTANT:
Provide clean-up for Rotogravure press pans
Clean and assemble doctor blades for the press
Assist in preparing for jobs by having trolleys, ink and coating ready for the press
Load and operate parts washing machine
Follow all safety rules
Assist operator in setting up and running the adhesive laminator
Assist in preparing for jobs by having trolleys and adhesive equipment ready for the laminator
Assist operators with loading, unloading, and retrieving cylinders
Load rolls of raw material onto the machine
Assist in removing converted materials
Assist operator with loading and unloading new cylinders
Ensure quality of products produced while job is running
Operate fork trucks and hand jacks as needed
Keep general work area and equipment safe and clean including floors, emptying trash and cleaning up ink and coating spills
Assist with other duties as assigned by operators and supervisor
WHAT YOU GET TO DO AS A LAMINATION ASSISTANT:
Provide clean-up for laminator.
Clean and assemble doctor blades for the press
Assist in preparing for jobs by having trolleys, ink and coating ready for the press
Load and operate parts washing machine
Assist operator in setting up and running the adhesive laminator
Assist in preparing for jobs by having trolleys and adhesive equipment ready for the laminator
Assist operators with loading, unloading, and retrieving cylinders

Assist in removing converted materials

Previous manufacturing experience a plus, not required
Knowledgeable and able to understand a computer and programs
Possess adequate math, measurement, and reading skills

Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices and ability to identify and distinguish colors
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with others in a team environment
