The RN Unit Manager oversees resident care and safety, supervising licensed staff, CNAs, and aides on the nursing unit.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, communicating changes to physicians, ensuring accurate documentation, and performing quality audits.
Manages staff scheduling, maintains care standards, supports staff through coaching, and addresses resident, family, and staff concerns.
Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, and performs related duties as assigned.
Requirements include an RN degree, valid NY license, 2+ years of experience, strong assessment and interpersonal skills, with preferred experience in geriatric care.
