The RN Registered Nurse Infection Preventionist develops, implements, and evaluates the infection control program, ensuring adherence to standards through research, surveillance, and inspections.
Communicates compliance issues and trains staff on infection prevention procedures.
Monitors and reports on infections, outbreaks, and antibiotic use, and oversees wound care and skin issues.
Provides direct nursing care as needed.
The ideal candidate will be wound care certified per CMS requirements.
