Temporary Administrative Assistant position thru June 30, 2025
SCHEDULE: Monday thru Friday; 9am-5pm (35 hours per week)
LOCATION: Short Hills, NJ
PAY RATE: $24/hr
Our client, a dedicated nonprofit organization based in Short Hills, NJ, is actively seeking an enthusiastic administrative assistant to join their team.
The ideal candidate will possess valuable office experience and demonstrate a commitment to working with us until June 2025. We are looking for someone with outstanding office skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, document management, excellent phone etiquette, and polished email correspondence.

General Administrative & Organizational Support
Provide a variety of administrative and organizational support for the day-to-day operations of the Outreach & Education team and the NPRC’s Chief Program & Policy Officer.
Manage calendars and assist with scheduling meetings.
Assist with meeting agendas and distribute materials for team and budget meetings.
Assist with note-taking at meetings and track follow-up items.
Perform general writing, research, filing, and document updates.
Support communication efforts, including meeting follow-ups, reminders, and email coordination.
Provide calendar management and gap coverage, as needed, during travel-heavy periods, especially for the NPRC’s Chief Program & Policy Officer.
Organize items for shipment and determine whether items need to be replaced or removed.
Answer phones and distribute calls and voicemails to the appropriate staff.
Travel & Event Support
Assist with basic travel logistics and event planning.
Support travel coordination for events and team activities.
Register team members for conferences, webinars, and outreach events.
Project Support
Conduct research and compile relevant information for ongoing initiatives.
Draft emails, communications, and supporting documents as needed.
Track progress and maintain organized records of project tasks and deliverables.
Follow up on assigned action items to ensure timely completion.
Research or support to develop policies and procedures for O&E critical activities.Company Description
