HIRING IN BERGEN, ESSEX, HUDSON, MONMOUTH, PASSAIC, MORRIS, AND UNION COUNTY

Requirements:

- - MUST have a Master’s degree in the field of Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling or MUST be working on their LAC, LSW (supervision will be provided), or fully Licensed LPC or LCSW in New Jersey or applied for a New Jersey Licensure.

- MUST have a valid Driver's License

- MUST have 1 year of experience working with youth in a behavioral setting i.e. camp counselor, teaching assistant

Job Description:

Intensive In-Community Service (IIC) is a critical, focused, goal-oriented, and needs-based clinical intervention that focuses on the emotional and behavioral challenges of youth with medium to extreme requirements. It may be provided in a youth’s home or in an agreeable community location OR virtual/hybrid by a licensed behavioral health clinician and is proposed to alleviate and support the youth and family to deter more intensive interventions and to support the youth and family in partnership with the Child Family Team (CFT) or identified support system.

All IICs can create their schedule according to the caregiver. This is an in-home or in-community intervention and clinical services that will comprise creating interventions, treatment, and goal support. There is an exception to face-to-face when any members of the family are ill.

Qualifications

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

Experience in behavioral health settings

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

Proficiency in data collection methods

Background in special education is a plus

Responsibilities

Provide intensive in-home therapy services to children and families and develop individualized treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care and support to clients.

Utilize motivational interviewing and crisis intervention skills to address complex behavioral health needs.

Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity when working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.
