Maintenance Artisan

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Artisan – Electrical to join our dynamic team in the mining sector.

Key Responsibilities: Install and commission new electrical and electronic equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance on motors, production machines, and other equipment using diagrams, manuals, and technical specifications.

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.

Identify sources of mechanical problems by observing equipment, listening for irregularities, and using precision testing instruments.

Dismantle and remove defective parts using hand and power tools; assess parts for wear and damage.

Fabricate or repair parts using machine shop tools and instrumentation.

Perform routine and ad-hoc testing of all electrical systems and circuits.

Maintain and upgrade existing electrical systems, components, and wiring.

Design and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
