Job Description
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for observing equipment operation and components, such as sensors, limit switches, proximity switches, conveyor belts, and photo eyes, to detect machine malfunctions. You will operate equipment to optimum efficiency to meet quality, cost, and operational requirements of daily schedules. Additionally, you will notify management of any production, safety, quality, or environmental concerns with equipment, operations, or the facility. You will also need to have knowledge of bagging specifications, ranges, and targets to meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
Observe equipment operation and components to detect machine malfunctions.
Operate equipment efficiently to meet quality, cost, and operational requirements.
Notify management of any production, safety, quality, or environmental concerns.
Understand and complete daily production forms accurately.
Perform routine maintenance of production equipment, including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
Assist with daily cleanup of the production work area.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned on a temporary or permanent basis.Essential Skills

Work Environment
The shift for this position is from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. You will be expected to work outside in the elements part of the time, as the work environment is not temperature controlled, and the finished product is stored outside.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of McLean, IllinoiPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
