Job Title: Welder and Fabricator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG welding on mild steel, operating fabrication equipment, taking precise measurements, reading blueprints, and assembling components using hand tools and power tools.
Pay: $24hr-$28hr
Shift: 8am-5pm
Location: Murfreesboro, TN
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on mild steel to fabricate and repair metal structures and components.
Operate various saws (e.g., band saw, chop saw) to cut metal pieces to specified dimensions.
Accurately take measurements and lay out workpieces according to specifications.
Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
Assemble metal parts and structures using hand tools and power tools, ensuring all components fit correctly and securely.
Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet standards.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.Essential Skills

Work Environment
The work environment is a fabrication shop that is not climate-controlled and can be dusty. The position is on the 1st shift, running from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, eye protection, and ear protection are required.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
