Job Title: Material Handler – Forklift Operator

Location: Gahanna, OH

Schedule: Full-Time Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Wage: Starting at $20/hr (negotiable based on experience and skills)Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Material Handler to join a fast-paced, precision-driven metal manufacturing Job Shop. This full-time role focuses on the safe and efficient handling, movement, and tracking of materials throughout the production facility.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, computer-literate, and committed to safety and organization—someone with a stable work history and experience in a similar industrial setting.Key Responsibilities:

Operate various forklifts and material handling equipment, including:

Sit-down / stand-up forklifts

Reach lifts

Cherry pickers

Pallet jacks

Load, unload, stage, and relocate materials and products

Track and record material movement using computer systems (no scan guns)

Prepare materials for internal transfers and outbound shipments

Support a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment

Receive materials accurately and efficiently using computer input

Collaborate closely with the production and shipping teamsQualifications:

5–10 years of relevant experience with a solid, stable work history

Previous experience in metal manufacturing or job shop environments preferred

Proficient in operating forklifts and material handling equipment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Comfortable with physical tasks and material movement

Basic computer skills required

Demonstrated commitment to safety and teamwork

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
