Field Superintendent - Multi-Family Construction

We are a reputable and fast-growing residential construction firm specializing in ground-up and large-scale renovation projects across the Los Angeles and Orange County regions. With a strong pipeline of multi-family developments, they are seeking a motivated and experienced Residential Construction Superintendent to join their team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, on-schedule, and on-budget projects.

Position Overview:

The Residential Construction Superintendent will oversee the day-to-day operations at construction sites, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires hands-on leadership, a deep understanding of multi-family construction processes, and strong coordination with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage on-site construction activities for multi-family residential projects from start to finish

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel

Maintain project schedule and proactively address any delays or issues

Conduct daily site inspections and safety meetings

Track and report on progress, material usage, and labor performance

Communicate effectively with Project Managers, clients, and city inspectors

Assist with budgeting, cost control, and procurement as needed

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in residential or multi-family construction

Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and residential construction practices

Proven track record of managing multi-family projects in the LA or Orange County markets

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications

Proficient in construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar)

OSHA 30 certification preferred

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
