Our client, a major mobile food service company, is seeking a highly analytical and systems-savvy HRIS Analyst to join our Human Resources team in Reston, VA!

Pay Rate: $43–$48/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Employment Type: Contract to Direct for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, test, and maintain Workday and UltiPro systems to ensure optimal performance and usability.

Troubleshoot and resolve HRIS issues, escalating complex problems to the Sr. Manager, HRIS as needed.

Partner with internal HR teams and IT to analyze business needs and design scalable HRIS solutions.

Manage HRIS mailbox, respond to field/corporate HR inquiries, and provide functional support.

Develop and maintain custom and ad-hoc reports using Cognos (v8 or later), ReportSmith, or similar BI tools.

Perform regular audits and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and integrity across systems.

Execute and monitor scheduled interfaces and file feeds with third-party vendors.

Assist in year-end processing, system upgrades, and cross-functional HR projects.

Contribute to training and end-user documentation to support HRIS adoption and change management.

Support ticketing workflows using systems such as JIRA or ServiceNow (SNOW).

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required in HR, IT, Business Administration, or related field.

Certifications such as PHR or PMP are a plus.

Experience:

3–5 years of hands-on HRIS experience, including configuration and troubleshooting.

Proven ability to implement process improvements and contribute to system upgrades.

Solid understanding of HR/payroll processes and best practices.

Demonstrated experience with Workday administration and configuration required.

Prior experience with UltiPro and knowledge of transitioning between systems is preferred.

Cognos (v8 or later), ReportSmith, or other BI/reporting tool experience required.

Familiarity with ticketing systems like JIRA or ServiceNow is highly desirable.

Experience supporting both U.S. and Canadian HR/payroll practices is a plus.
