Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Description

Graham Technologies is seeking a motivated Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to provide cybersecurity expertise in analyzing, assessing, and securing applications, systems, networks, and infrastructure. This role plays a critical part in identifying, mitigating, and managing security risks while supporting security projects, technology implementations, and compliance initiatives.

Location: Huntsville, AL

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design, development, and evaluation of secure systems and architectures across enterprise environments.

Provide technical information security support and guidance during software purchases, system implementations, and infrastructure changes.

Collaborate with IT operations, government units, and security teams to identify and mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Monitor and analyze system logs, security events, and threat intelligence feeds to detect and respond to incidents.

Support the development and enforcement of information security policies, procedures, and standards.

Contribute to incident response, forensic investigations, and post-incident reviews.

Utilize tools such as Splunk Enterprise Security and Microsoft Sentinel to collect, correlate, and analyze security data.

Stay current with evolving threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to maintain robust security postures.

Required Skills:

Must have an active TS; SCI Eligible or higher

A bachelor's in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.

10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security analysis

Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise Security

Strong understanding of security fundamentals, including incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence

Excellent communication and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel

Certifications (one or more desired):

GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON)

GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)

GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)

GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)

GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA)

GIAC Cloud Threat Detection (GCTD)

GIAC Cloud Forensics Responder (GCFR)
