We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of People Operations to lead our People Operations team. This role is pivotal in shaping and implementing our people strategy to foster a high-performance, inclusive, and engaged workforce. The Director of People Operations will oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and organizational development.What you will do:
Responsible for the day-to day management and development of the recruiting team, ensuring all tasks are done in a timely manner that is consistent with Federal, State and Local laws as well as WRS Health’s internal policies
Review and improve the talent acquisition strategy to ensure the placement of highly qualified employees for all openings
Create a future pipeline of talent for critical roles to attract a diverse pool of top talent
Strategize and lead the team to identify opportunities and solutions to enhance the process
Lead and mentor the People Operations team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Serve as the designated Executive Recruiter, responsible for the sourcing, screening, selection, and onboarding for executive level talent
Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, feedback, and performance evaluations.
Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with company objectives.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to support company goals and ensure legal compliance.
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Business Administration or in Human Resources Administration or any related field.
Minimum Experience: A minimum of 5 years progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a management role overseeing talent acquisition and other aspects of HR
Must have experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing, and proficiency in MS Office suite as well as Google Workspace
Knowledge of US Human Resources law, practices, and procedures
Excellent communication skills and diplomacy with all levels of staff and leadership
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects within varying deadlines
Proven capacity for collaborative teamwork and ability to build strong relationships
In-house recruitment experience required
Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
