Responsibilities

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership

Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

Communicate directly with the Recon Service Manager so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions, and recommend appropriate repairs

Perform all work as described on repair order with efficiency and accuracy

Communicate with Recon Service Manager regarding additional repairs and timeliness of repairs

Communicate with the Recon Parts Department to obtain needed parts

Complete manufacturer and dealership training

Qualifications

Must have Experience with a automotive background.

Strong teamwork skills

Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check

Must have clean & valid driver's license

Must maintain a clean and presentable workplace

Ability to be on feet for long periods of time and safely lift heavy objects

Hands-on experience working with vehicles

Must have own tools (we provide workstations to hold the tools)
