A Day in the Life (This is just the beginning!):
As the Assistant Station Leader, you’ll guide and motivate a team of 15+ drivers, ensuring seamless, safe, and timely operations every day. Your key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring all routes run on time while checking in with drivers to offer assistance when needed
Scheduling and operational planning, including a working knowledge of KPIs, budget management, and team development
Leading exceptional customer relations with Airline Crews, consistently exceeding client expectations and creating “Raving Fan” service
Championing safety as a top priority and ensuring all team members execute tasks with safety first in mind
Providing timely communication to Headquarters and Dispatch to resolve issues efficiently
Overseeing daily Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspections to maintain vehicle standards
Building and nurturing a team of professional drivers who consistently deliver “Raving Fan Service” and surpass company standards
What Makes You the Ideal Candidate?
You are an inspirational leader who thrives on bringing out the best in your team! We are looking for someone with:
Experience and passion for working with technology (mobile and computer skills)
A proven track record in leadership, team building, and being an advocate for drivers
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
3+ years of management experience, ideally in an airline/airport setting (preferred)
5+ years of experience in transportation or related industries
A strong background in safety management, contributing to a culture of safety
Training and coaching experience (preferred)
The ability to lift up to 75 lbs and a valid driver’s license, meeting company insurance requirements
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends or evenings—because we’re a 24/7/365 operation!
