Versatility: Every day is different, and every customer unique. If you do not like routine, then this position is perfect for you. Our Maintenance/Mechanical team tackles an extensive variety of tasks for our customers, including:

New machinery installations

Existing equipment repair, replacement, and troubleshooting

Preventative Maintenance

Precision alignment of industrial machinery working hand-in-hand with our skilled Metrology & Optical Inspection teams

Attention to Detail: OASIS sets the standard in what we do, not simply because we have some of the best precision measurement instrumentation and quality mechanical tooling at our grasps, but because our entire group takes pride in providing our customers with professional and quality workmanship – from job preparation through project completion to post-job follow-up.

Self-Starter – While OASIS is on-site, clients are accustomed with us tackling the tasks/projects at hand without much involvement from them. Having the desire and ability to move onto the next task or help others complete their tasks, is essential in creating a highly effective and

Travel Willingness: - Most of our Northeast Region customer base resides 3 to 8 hours away from our Rochester, NH office; requiring multiple overnight stays within any given week. Every week is different of course, but generally, one can expect 2-3 overnights most weeks, but the potential exists for weeklong projects.

Desired Skills:

Mechanical Aptitude: a mechanical skill set. Familiarity with the use of various mechanical and power tooling, rigging equipment, hydraulic lifting jacks. An additional plus would include welding capabilities, the use of cutting torches or plasma cutters, and machining.

Computer Skills: Having the ability to navigate various computer programs. All expense reporting, scheduling, and time keeping are accomplished through various programs. Naturally, these processes and programs will be explained and taught.

Customer/Vendor Interactions: Our Field Service group interacts with clients almost on a daily basis. Experience with Customers interactions is vital in ensuring we are meeting our customers’ expectations on all aspects of their project. It’s also imperative in meeting the fluctuating needs of our customers that may occur while on-site.

Organization & Housekeeping: Working safe practices include good housekeeping which includes keeping your office workstation organized, as well as your on-site work area clean. This attribute is an important standard in establishing safe working conditions and presenting a professional image to our customers.

Additional Qualifications: Medical Card or CDL License for driving our Mechanical Tool Cribs, forklift certification, ancillary Safety Certifications (i.e. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30)

Per Diem Allowance: OASIS provides a daily per diem allowance for overnight field work (amount varies based on stay location)

Flexible Hours at Office: OASIS understands the difficulty in scheduling appointments or partaking in family activities due to the travel schedule. OASIS offers some flexibility in your office work hours (i.e. starting your day earlier to attend an appointment in the afternoon, or vice versa.)
