Material Handler – 2nd Shift

Excellent Furst-to-Hire opportunity for a Material Handler to work on the 2nd shift at a leading Rockford steel company. The Material Handler is responsible for moving steel to staging areas manually and with a handheld overhead crane. The Material Handler position provides a lot of overtime – a great way to make extra money! The ideal candidate must be able to work mandatory overtime when needed.

Hours: 3:30pm until the work is done – often a lot of overtime

Material Handler Duties:

Operate overhead crane and mobile cranes

Machine operation

Move steel to staging areas manually and with a crane

Load and unload trucks or railroad cars

Material Handler Skills:

1-3 years forklift experience

Experience operating machines

Basic computer skills

Must be able to follow directions

Demonstrate ability to work safely and efficiently

Must be willing to work required overtime
