King Machine is currently seeking a CNC Programmer II who will be responsible for interpreting project blueprints, designing programs and setting up machines to produce tire molds in the most efficient manner. This person will also perform tests and make adjustments to ensure the machine produces high-quality parts. Additionally, the incumbent will maintain the equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

Essential Functions

Program and verify automotive parts using NX, Smart Cam, and Vericut software.

Write and optimize CNC programs to create complex parts and components.

Test programs and make adjustments to ensure efficiency and quality.

Communicate effectively with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.

Conduct timely updates of CAD/CAM files to maintain accuracy.

Demonstrate capability in CNC equipment setup, programming, and rudimentary troubleshooting.

Compile documentation pertaining to CNC program development.Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED.

At least 5 years of experience programming/operating CNC equipment.

At least 3 years of experience programming CNC parts with CAM software.

Working knowledge of CAD or 3D software.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Ability to read blueprints.

Knowledge of foundational machine codes and GD&T blueprint interpretation.

Ability to read and write in English.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Regular use of standard office equipment (computer, phone, printer, etc.).
