Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Helper to perform routine building maintenance and upkeep of facilities, ensuring all systems and equipment are functioning properly. This full-time role supports the maintenance team and involves minor repairs, cleaning, outdoor maintenance, and assisting with special projects.

Key Responsibilities

Perform minor repairs (e.g., doors, locks, plumbing, and electrical).

Maintain cleanliness of indoor and outdoor spaces.

Conduct inspections of equipment and electrical systems.

Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical systems.

Operate maintenance tools and equipment, including forklifts and diagnostic tools.

Respond promptly to emergency repairs and clean-ups.

Track and replenish maintenance supplies as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of elementary school required.

Minimum 2 years of experience in facility maintenance.

Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry is a plus.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet attendance standards.

Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and working at heights.

Work Environment

Exposure to heat, cold, dust, moderate noise, and outdoor weather conditions.

Use of cleaning fluids, solvents, and power tools.

Requires adherence to safety regulations.

Full-Time
