Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Epoxy Floor Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, applying, and finishing high-quality epoxy flooring in various commercial, industrial, and residential settings. The ideal candidate will have experience working with epoxy materials, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Surface Preparation: Prepare and clean floors for epoxy application, including removing old flooring, cleaning, sanding, and repairing any cracks or imperfections.
Epoxy Mixing & Application: Mix and apply epoxy and other floor coating materials accurately according to specifications, ensuring even coverage and proper curing.
Floor Installation: Install epoxy floors in a variety of settings, ensuring a smooth and durable finish that meets industry standards.
Quality Control: Inspect work for imperfections and make necessary adjustments to ensure high-quality results.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
Customer Service: Communicate with clients regarding project expectations, timelines, and any special requests or considerations.
Maintenance & Repair: Perform maintenance and repair work as needed for epoxy floors, including touch-ups and re-coating.
Qualifications:
Experience: Experience installing epoxy floors or working in a related field is a plus.
Skills: Proficient in surface preparation, epoxy mixing, and floor coating techniques. Familiarity with a variety of epoxy products and applications is highly desirable.
Attention to Detail: Strong eye for quality, precision, and consistency in workmanship.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in physically demanding environments, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Safety Focus: Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to work safely in construction and industrial environments.
Customer Interaction: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and work as part of a team to meet project goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: OSHA certification or other relevant safety training.
Vehicle: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Knowledge of other Flooring Systems: Experience with other types of flooring installation (e.g., concrete, vinyl) is a bonus.
