Job Description
Pulls Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a cables and fiber optic cabling systems.
Installation of data equipment, including data racks, patch panels, cable trays, high level understanding of IDF, MDF and Data Center build out
Utilizes appropriate testing equipment to test installed cables.
Operates a variety of tools, such as hand tools, power tools, ladders, scissor lifts, and cabling test equipment
Performs termination and testing of new cabling
Builds and installs racks, dresses and terminates closets, carries out tests and troubleshoots
Work at heights above ceiling and small confined spaces.
Able to review floor plans, line diagrams and rack elevations to ensure successful installation
Leave each job site clean and organized at the end of each day and spot checked at the completion of each project
They should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. technicians should be able to work with a team or independently.Company Description
