Cherry Picker Operator

Job Description

Midway Staffing is seeking a dependable and safety-minded Order Picker/Cherry Picker Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and moving products using a cherry picker in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring proper inventory handling and strict adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate has previous experience operating an order picker, a keen eye for detail, and a strong work ethic. Location: Joliet, IL

Schedule: 7AM-3:30PM

Pay rate: $18.05/Hour

Duties:

Safely operate cherry pickers to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse or distribution center

Accurately pick and stage products for shipping based on order specifications and inventory procedures

Perform routine equipment inspections and promptly report any mechanical or safety concerns to supervisors

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area while following all safety protocols and company policies

Requirements:

Must pass a background check with employment verifications

Must pass a drug screening

Minimum of 1 year of cherry picker operating experience required

Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
