Motor Personal Injury Paralegal - FTC

Due to the development and expansion of the firm’s motor team, they are seeking seeking to appoint a Paralegal to work alongside its existing Team dealing with their own caseload of litigated motor files. You will be responsible for dealing with quantum and liability whilst employing effective telephone negotiation techniques to acquire the suitable settlement.

You will be considering engineering and medical evidence, GP records, taking witness statements, drafting Court documents, running cases to trial to include instructing Counsel.

The ideal candidate will have experience of running a litigated case load - whether small claims or fast track.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract initially.

RTA File handling experience

Sound knowledge of the high way code and basic road traffic act principles

Basic knowledge of the Court Practice Rules

Excellent communication skills are essential alongside strong negotiation skills

Ability to work to deadlines, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload

Excellent organisation and time-management skills

Professional and effective communication with team members and contacts
